Is it normal after surgery carpal tunnel to have a swollen hand / ends with little or no feeling?

My mom suffered a carpal tunnel surgery at the same time she had her rotator cuff surgery (Aparently major surgery). They did a nerve block for channel tunnel, and it was 4.5 weeks and his fingers and hands are quite swollen, with little or no sense.

yes, but it should not last very long, more than likely they just did a nerve block when they did the surgery … so it should be just something that needs to be out of surgery … but if it was only a few days so I call the doctor as soon as possible b / c you might have a good chance of some lesions nerve injection
