Open Carpal Tunnel Release Surgery?

I had my surgery on wednesday feb 13th the doc put me on lortab 7.5 mgs 3 x a day. The medicine is just not working for my pain. I’m either having to double up or take it more often. My doc is out of town until Monday but I have an appt with him that morning. I’m wondering what meds have worked for any of you and any suggestions would be much appreciated…….thanks Autismommy
that all sounds good in theory but i’m a single mom to an autistic son so i can’t not use my hand….the pain is bad but not severe if i take 2 pain pills i’m ok

I had mine done the day after yours. I’m also taking the same pain meds. Keep your hand elevated as much as possible, and don’t use it at all. An ice pack may help. If the pain is severe, call the emergency room and talk to a nurse. Most of all, KEEP IT ELEVATED. Best of luck to you.
